CSL Art Exhibit History
The Central Suburban League Art Exhibit is committed to illuminating the creative pursuits of high school student artists. This gallery experience fosters enrichment, experimentation, and excellence that promotes an appreciation of diversity and the creative process. Each high school’s artistic vision and philosophy is evident in the core values of educating the whole child and encouraging non-competitive personal expression.
This exhibit began in 1989 under the vision of Dr. E. J. Duffy, principal at Glenbrook North High School. Each CSL school supports the efforts of art students in a non-competitive environment in a local venue open to the public. This remarkable exhibit serves to promote the visual arts in the Central Suburban League schools and provide an opportunity for the public to view the extraordinary efforts of high school students.
